Pain ManagementWhat an awesome gift you have given me. I have had continued success with the technique you taught me beyond my original need. In 2006, I went through hernia surgery. The surgery was a successful out patient procedure but the pain management was not. The staff struggled to get the pain down to a tolerable level for quite a while prior to my leaving the hospital. I was provided with prescriptions for pain medications and sent on my way. I struggled with the pain for a week with calls to my physicians and their modifying dosages. Through hypnosis, Joan taught me how to manage my pain to the point of numbing it. The technique was and is a complete success. I have needed to use it periodically for other aches and pains and now feel empowered to take control of those situations.
